This comprehensive one-day workshop will teach you a range of essential self-care techniques, which can be easily integrated into both your professional and personal life.
Learn life-long transferable skills that may ultimately support your health, increase your vitality and improve your physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.
People who work in caring professions are often so dedicated to helping others, they can tend to neglect their own health and well-being. Carers, therapists, nurses, doctors, social workers, parents, teachers, entrepreneurs, charity workers; the list is endless. In today's high-pressured, fast-paced society, a lack of time often results in a lack of self-care, which in turn can lead to high levels of stress, anxiety, exhaustion or even illness. Sadly, the term 'burn-out' is heard all too often these days because many people have forgotten how to prioritise their own needs.
This workshop will help you stop the steady decline into fatigue resulting from over-work, and guide you towards fully embracing the importance of putting yourself first.
Learn easy-to-apply techniques such as:
- Stress and anxiety-reducing breath-work
- Sound healing
- EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)
- Self-help Acupressure
Engage in personal and group reflections on:
- the importance of taking care of yourself
- energy management techniques
- your biggest blocks to self-care.
- the consequences of avoiding self-care
- what works best for you
The subject of self-care is extremely important and there is a lot to cover on this comprehensive training day.
However, this is predominantly an interactive, experiential workshop, so by the end of the day you will feel relaxed, re-vitalised and ready to make a self-care pledge to yourself.
This workshop takes place in several locations throughout the year, including Exeter, Kingsbridge, Taunton, Brighton and London.
